Among the many projects Stylish Windows completes, this household of five happy children, 2 devoted parents, and a dog was designed by S. Esther, a talented interior designer. The window treatments portion was completed by Stylish Windows, along side S. Esther. The goal in this particular project was to match the window treatments with the colors that were in each individual room, and to keep the home casual, and fun. It was our pleasure to work with this delightful family. Below are descriptions and pictures of a portion of the house.
Sheer weave roller shades were installed in the living room. To cover the hardware, top treatments from the same fabric as the roller shades were fabricated. In order to dress the window up even more, pinch pleat silk drapes were installed on a 2” decretive wood pole, with matching decorative hardware.
The same roller shades and top treatments that were used in the living room were installed in the dining room. To add a finishing touch, rod pocket silk drapes were installed on a 3” decretive wood pole, which had to be mitered according to the wall.
In the eat in portion of the kitchen, soft fold roman shades that matched the chairs and the cushion were installed.
Bamboo roman shades were installed in the family room, which also allows for an exit to the back yard. This helped bring some of the nature from out doors, in doors.
A laminated roller shade was installed in the girls’ bedroom, with a box pleat valance from semi silk fabric, which was lined and interlined to add the finishing touch.
Wood blinds with decorative tapes and an upgraded valance were installed in the son’s bedroom.
Laminated blackout roller shades that mach the carpet’s colors, with a box pleated valance, which coordinated the girl’s favorite colors were installed.
Soft fold roman shades from semi silk fabric, that compliments the colors of the room, were lined and interlined.
This house is just about done, just a few more finishing touches to be completed by Esther, and this family is ready to continue their happily ever after.… And on we go to our next project.
